What we store
To prevent randoms from logging in here and verify who is starting or stopping servers, we store the absolute minimum data required:
- Your unique Discord ID (a numeric string)
- Your public Discord Username
- Your assigned role on this system
- The public IP address you log-in from
What we don't store
We do not have access to your Discord passwords, email addresses, friends list, or any of your private messages. Authentication is handled securely and entirely by Discord's official OAuth2 system. If you hit authorize, we get your Discord ID and Username. We then take them, compare them against a list of users who we have given access, and if they match, you're good. If they don't we just reject the request. That's all the processing we do.
Cookies & Logging
We use a single, temporary, strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you logged in while you use the dashboard. For security and diagnostic purposes, the backend maintains a local text log of login attempts, auto-shutdowns, and manual server start/stop actions.
